Devon Racial Equality Council is committed to providing high quality
training and consultancy services to organisations and individuals
needing to raise their awareness of/comply with the law in relation
to Racial Equality or Equality and Diversity.
In providing
training and consultancy services Devon REC seeks to achieve
the following key objectives:

to racial equality, the law, compliance and its impact at a
professional and corporate level.

Educate people about race in Devon and the impact on
the community |

To explore race and its relevance to the wider equality
agenda |

To begin to equip individuals with skills to challenge
inappropriate language and behaviour |
5. To enable individuals
to appropriately understand and disseminate good practice
within the workplace

To enable organisations to meet revelant government standards
and to establish and monitor particular local standards according
to circumstances. |
Devon
REC's team of trainers, the Devon REC Training group,
have wide experience of working in a variety of settings, delivering
training tailored to the needs of the client organisation's
work area and the operational level of the staff in question.
This is a group of trainers, mostly teachers, lecturers, facilitators
and management consultants with a particular interest in equality.
All contracts are charged on the basis of needs of the organisation
which are established by some form of training needs analysis.
We do however have a rough tariff to give general guidance.
